Pantry Challenge Week 2

These were my goals for week #1 in the PANTRY CHALLENGE
  • Inventory pantries etc
  • Can up pumpkins if any are still good.
  • Make cinnamon apple rings.
  • Make apple sauce or apple butter from the last of the apples
And as we are in the Dark Days, eat from the pantry!

How did I do? We'll I did inventory my home canned goods.

Sunday- Roasted Chicken, (HC) green beans,(HC) mixed fruit, (FS) rice, califlower puree and salad
Monday - (FZ) pierogi and ham slices, Zuchinni bread with (FZ) zuchinni
Tuesday - Chicken and rice soup (leftes from Sunday), hame baked potato rolls
Wednesday -Pot Roast, mashed potato. corn (HC), Apple PIe (apples from root celler)
Thursday - Chicken Corn Chowder (lefter chicken and cor, broth was (HC), Potato bread (leftovers)
Friday - Quiche (Brocolli, bacon)
Saturday - Canned Beef Stew (HC)
